The Nigerian Army has arrested a Boko Haram kingpin, Bulama Modu, and 43 suspected insurgents at Jangurori and Bulatori villages, in Borno.
A suspected Boko Haram terrorist, Aji Gambo, was also arrested at Wudla village.
The troops also rescued 241 women and children during the operation, while arms and other weapons were also recovered from Bulama Modu.
The arrest and rescue operation was carried out on Tuesday, September 22.
