The ‘I Am Cait’ star made the surprise admission during her E! reality show but her stepdaughter Kim Kardashian West expressed her fears about how invasive the procedure was.

In the recent episode, Kim told the 65-year-old former Olympian, who was known as Bruce Jenner before undergoing a gender transition: “What if they made a mistake and you came out with no voice?”

Caitlyn clearly continued to mull over the decision as she discussed the idea with some of her friends over dinner, with one telling her: “I haven’t done one thing. If you’re going to accept me, you’re going to accept me.”

Meanwhile, the television personality previously revealed she tried to perfect her “best feminine voice” by calling room service when she stayed at hotels.

Caitlyn also admitted it was “important” for her to have a feminine voice because it would give her more confidence.
