A shocked judge in Italy was forced to suspend an ongoing murder trial after she caught two court officials having sex in plain view.

Anna Ivaldi was presiding over the trial of Yassin Mahmod at the Palazzo di Giustizia (Palace of Justice) in Genoa when she spotted the couple making love in a nearby room.

The room where the act was going on was covered with smoke glass which the couple thought would hide them from sight. Unfortunately for them however, the judge still spotted them.

The first clue was when the occupants of the court started hearing strange noises and then the outline of 2 naked bodies was seen.

A spokesman for the court said:

‘Proceedings in a murder case were temporarily halted after the judge noted a disturbance.

‘The matter was dealt with and an investigation has been launched so as a result it would not be appropriate to comment further.’

One of the two amorous workers is said to be married.
