If you haven’t heard of Chigurl and her viral hit by now, then consider yourself a weissst! And if you don’t know what that word means, we have to ask, on what planet do you live? Chigurl’s hit single Not Gonna Be A Weist (Waste) hit the airwaves last week, causing ripples which were clearly unprecedented on the part of the ‘artist’.
In the spirit of a true hustler, Chigurl quickly followed up her track with an audio release, thanking her listeners and even dishing out some advice for those who didn’t like her “former last song”. More importantly she included a request for “Chocolate City – that people that does M.I – or Mo’hits, Don Jazzy” to discover her talent which is “wasting away”.
The brief song (exactly 52 seconds long) was sandwiched between two short speeches, and was perhaps meant to be motivational in nature. The song has however ended up as a comedic hit, but hit na hit, abi?

Lol !! What makes it even funnier is when you know who is speaking. Chioma aka Chi-gurl is a complete aje-butter who on a normal day doesn't speak this way. it just goes to show her talent. She speaks some other languages including French apart from English and Igbo.

You made a mistake! Chi-gurl's debut wasn't 'Not gonna be a weist' dt was her 2nd single. Her 1st single was 'Kilodem' and she even said it in her speech 'discover me'. After 'Kilodem' came 'not gonna be a weist' and 'baby, what u gonna buy for me' and den her latest 'taisste a paisssttte'! Pls correct! Thanks!
