Chizoba Okpala-Atsu: Grateful for marriage, motherhood and a thriving business (30 Days of Gratitude)

Entrepreneurship is a lot tougher than it looks and I have the utmost respect for every business owner I come across. It is a hectic job in a tough business environment but that is our world.

So, I am grateful for a great team who have always put it the energy, time and dedication to ensure that Elles Icebox continues to maintain its position as a leader in mixology.

I have always appreciated the team but it increased tenfold when they ensured I could be away from work for over six months (for the first time in seven years!), and I could be rest assured my business would not crumble in my absence.

I am grateful for loyal family and friends who have supported us over the years.

It is heart-warming to know that people think of you and no other when they have having their special occasions and don’t imagine it complete without Elles Icebox serving their guests!

I am so thankful for continued growth, Elles Icebox has grown bigger and bigger every year, we have expanded our business into training others in mixology, started a smoothie business and The Elles Icebox Cocktail Guide has been in book stores receiving positive reviews for one year now.

I am grateful because Elles Icebox is a successful thriving business that I am ever so proud of.

Most of all, I am grateful for marriage and motherhood this year, God blessed me with my very own beautiful family who I cherish.
