We understand the logistics of it. Even though we are all equal in Christ, in the world, strata exist. That’s not the way God created it, but sebi the devil is the prince of the world? So we give to Caesar what is his.

And that’s why for major church events – RCCG Holyghost Service, MFM Anointing Service, New Anointing’s Azusa, etc (do they do same at Shiloh?), we have to have classifications. So we have the general spaces, then the VIP spaces, and all that.

But guys, the optics.

Because, you know, we are all equal in Christ.

To go to the Night of Worship or go to The Experience (which we are definitely looking forward to!) and see people with VIP tags or VVIP tags… and not just pastors o. Like, people who have money or who are famous, or who know somebody… we just wish there as a better way to do it.

So we have suggestions. How about we go biblical on this one. You don’t have to change the idea of it (look, we understand, levels are levels in the real world. If you want true equality, wait for heaven), just the nomenclature.

Instead of VIP, VVIP and VVVIP, why don’t we try this another way… How about we calls some tickets Levites, and some tickets, I don’t know, Reubenites, or something?

Or you know – The Blood, The Water, The Oil. Something, One or Two Things, ANYTHING BUT VVVIP IN THE HOUSE OF JEHOVAH.

Something more fitting with the character, and essence of Christianity as a leveler, of God as an equal opportunity father, of the church as a place of equity and equanimity.

Yes, just for the optics of it. Because all things are lawful, but we sure as heaven know that all things are not expedient. Selah.
