Clarence Seedorf gets Shenzhen head coach job

Former AC Milan manager, Clarence Seedorf has been named head coach of Chinese League one side, Shenzhen.

Seedorf was sacked as manager of AC Milan in June 2014, less than 5 months in charge of the club and has since been out of job. The deal is reported to be on a one-year contract and will see the Dutchman take over from Tang Yaodong.

The 40-year-old’s first game in charge will be a trip to Qingdao Jonoon on Sunday.

Shenzhen are seventh on the log in China’s second tier after 16 matches, seven points behind leaders Qingdao Huanghai.
