Wizkid famously put off going to university to pursue a hugely successful music career, but now he has his university degree!
The music star was honoured in faraway Cyprus with an honorary degree for his “selfless contribution to the Nigerian music industry as well as taking his music to the world”
Wizkid was on hand to receive his degree yesterday [June 4] at the Nicosia Campus of the uni.
About the honour he wrote,
Thank you Cyprus International University for the love. Thanks to the Staff of CIU and the entire students that waited at the airport to show me love! Tomorrow we go all the way up!! Blessings nd love!!
On arrival, Wizzy was received by students of Cyprus International University and is billed to perform later today at Lion Garden, Famagusta, Cyprus, is surely happy with the extra accolade and intends to show the students that the honour is well deserved.
