Dangote, 3 others resign from Dangote Flour Mills

Aliko Dangote, the richest man in Africa, has resigned from Dangote Flour Mills.

Dangote’s resignation came after Tiger Brands, majority owner of Dangote Four Mills cut funding support to the Nigerian division.

This decision prompted the resignation of four of their directors on Monday, November 16.

Tiger Brands stated that it was exploring other alternatives in relation to its investment in Dangote Flour Mills.

Aliko Dangote holds 10 percent of the company’s equity in through Dangote Industries.

According to Reuters the other directors that resigned from Dangote Flour are – Arnold Ekpe, Asue Ighodalo and Olakunle Alake.
