The world’s oldest man is 179-year-old Mahashta Mûrasi.

He was allegedly born in Bangalore, India, on the 6th of January 1835, and he told reporters that his grandchildren were all dead, but somehow death has forgotten him.

He said: “My grandchildren are dead there for years. Somehow forgot me death.”

According to Guinness World Records, “It is not only the oldest man in the world but also the man who lived the longest since the history of mankind.”

He lived in Varanasi, where he worked until 1957, until his retirement in 122 years.
