The demise of British model and television personality, Peaches Geldof was left unresolved after authorities struggled to find a cause of death.
However, the wait seems to be over as reports have it that the 25-year-old daughter of rock star, Bob Geldof died of a heroin overdose.
Peaches lost her mother, Paula Yates to an overdose of the same drug and she leaves behind two young sons.
NY Daily reports:
News that Peaches Geldof, 25, the mother of two young children, died of a drug overdose came a day before British authorities were to begin an inquest into her death, The Times of London reported.
Geldof, a British fashion model and TV personality, suffered the fatal overdose April 7 while caring for her 11-month-old son in her home in Kent, England, sources told the Times.
Her mother, Paula Yates, died in 2000 from a heroin overdose, and friends said Peaches grew up haunted by the death. A day before police found her dead in her home, Peaches posted an Instagram photo of her as a baby posing with her mother.
Her son, Phaedra, was reportedly found by her side when police went to her house after a friend called them to check on her.
While Geldof had admitted to her own bouts with drugs, she claimed to be sober in recent interviews.
