Upon reports that the convoy of Kogi governor, Idris Wada was involved in the death of author and former academic union chairman, Professor Festus Iyayi, Nigerians have begun to react. It is particularly shocking as this would be the second time in as many years that the governor has been so involved in a crash.
His deputy was also involved in a crash involving his convoy in September this year, caused by over-speeding.
Below are 7 tweets that capture the anger, and the shock over another avoidable Nigerian death.
Governor is on the road: park your car. President is in the air: hover in the air forever. If they could, they will remove the air.

The Channels report says Governor Wada’s convoy had killed two people this year before Prof Iyayi. Do we still feel like we are sane here?
