The lawmaker representing Surulere constituency in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Desmond Elliott has provided a homeless woman with a well furnished apartment.

Elliott, a multi-award winning actor who recently rehabilitated a borehole in his constituency found out that the woman who washes cloth at the spot was homeless.

So he took it open himself to change her story by providing her with a well furnished apartment in the vicinity.

“So I rehabilitated this bore hole a few months ago, and the woman in this picture apparently is homeless and lives there at that spot, she bought a generator to power the bore hole (she washes clothes for a living),” he said on Instagram. “Boy was I impressed? So I decided to give her a little surprise. She got a clean, fresh, room apartment with a television, GoTv, fan, Matress and chair ..a place to retire to after a days work. Congrats to her”.
