A prison inmate in Thailand died after swallowing 20 condoms filled with methamphetamines popularly known as ice.

According to the Bangkok Post, the investigators suspected that one or more of the condoms ingested by the inmate, Anukoon Pasook, burst inside his stomach causing his death.

Police say that according to the prison officials’ report, each of the 20 condoms was filled with at least 165 grams of the illegal substance.

Pasook was said to have swallowed the prohibited drug to hide it from prison officials because he was due in court the next day.
