Rihanna and Chris Brown recently sparked engagement rumours following their appearance at Sunday night’s Grammy Awards but latest reports claim it was just a scare, they really aren’t, at least not yet.

Rihanna sparked the rumours after appearing on stage with a diamond ring on her engagement finger.

But it was later revealed that they weren’t engaged but the ring many mistook for an engagement ring was actually a borrowed item.

E! explains Neil Lane generously lent Rihanna $2 million worth of jewelry to complete her outfit. The jewelry included “20-carat platinum and diamond drop earrings, a platinum and diamond serpentine bracelet, and platinum and diamond rings,” one of which was the alleged engagement ring.
