Veteran movie-maker, Tade Ogidan is reportedly embroiled in a wife-battery scandal.

According to NigeriaFilms, his wife, Yewande was said to have sustained serious injuries after the incident which happened yesterday.

It is not clear what started the fight but reports say the film-maker has a history of beating his wives as his wife was said to have left the relationship after a series of beating.

Ogidan’s reaction to the allegations could not be obtained as his phone numbers were not reachable.

Before u castigate this man, a yoruba adage says wen the yam is cooking, nobody hears, but wen d pounding is going on, everybody hears.Dis woman must have done something which must have triggered this mans anger.besides, wen u know u have a temperous Husband, u should av known ow to be careful around him! I don't support d beating, but I dislike d whole hype of d situation. Mind you, you press must be careful because u 're contravening his right to private & family life, S.38 of d constitution.
