The #BringBackOurGirls group accompanied by 71 parents of the abducted Chibok girls marched on Thursday, January 14 demanding to see President Buhari.

The march was geared towards galvanizing the president into taking prompt action to see to the liberation of the kidnapped girls who have been in captivity for over 640 days.

As President Buhari geared to meet with the Chiboks parents, the president’s aides asked all the pressmen to excuse the meeting as the President would be discussing sensitive matters of national security.

Also, nobody in the meeting was allowed use of their mobile devices.

Following the reactions of some participants of the march on social media, it would appear that the president’s meeting with the BBOG group and the Chibok parents did not go down pleasantly with both parties.

Aisha Yesufu, a leader of the BringBackOurGirls movement revealed that President Buhari’s demeanor towards the agonising parents was far from encouraging.
