Not less than two people have been killed in a suspected Boko Haram attack on polling stations in Gombe.

The attacks reportedly occurred in the villages of Birin Bolawa and Birin Fulani in the Nafada district of Gombe state.

According to an election official, the insurgents arrived the area screaming: “Didn’t we warn you about staying away from (the) election?”
