DSS to arraign arrested judges today

The Department of State Security (DSS) will on Thursday arraign the seven judges who were arrested for alleged corruption before a Federal High Court in Abuja.

Recall that the judges were arrested by the DSS on October 7 on allegations of corruption.

The DSS had also alleged that some cash and foreign funds were recovered from some of the arrested judges.

It was gathered that some of the judges had been reporting to the secret police’s office for questioning.

Two of the judges, Justice Okoro Inyang and Justice Ngwuta had written to the National Judicial Council claiming that they were arrested because they refused to pervert justice.

It was also learnt that witnesses have been lined up to testify against the judges.
