Duh! “I didn’t travel in crashed helicopter” – Sambo Dasuki, NSA

by Akan Ido

The National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki has reportedly denied being involved in the helicopter crash which killed the former NSA, Andrew Azazi and Kaduna Governor, Patrick Yakowa.

According to a statement released by his office, the NSA said, “We wish to state that the NSA, Mr. Sambo Dasuki was not part of that flight that crashed because he has been out of the country on national assignment.”

It said the NSA has expressed his condolence to the family of those who lost their lives in the crash which occurred in Nembe, Bayelsa.

The statement from the office of the NSA said Dasuki had already called and spoken with Mrs. Alero Azazi over the death of her husband and his friend/regular 12 course mate.

Well, the NSA won’t be issuing press statements if he was involved in the crash, would he?
