The outspoken Ijaw leader, Edwin Clark, will have surely have some words to spew, as his wife was attacked in Abeokuta, on Tuesday, March 10.
Dr. Bisola Sodipo-Clark and her supporters were attacked by hoodlums in the Sokori area of Abeokuta North Local Government Area, Ogun State.
Sodipo-Clark who is the senatorial candidate of PDP for Ogun Central zone was on a tour of her constituency.
Many of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP members in the area who had gathered to welcome their leaders, were left injured and hospitalized from the attack.
Sodipo-Clark, was however, lucky as she was whisked away by her security details before the thugs could get to her.
Some of her security details weren’t so lucky, as they got injured in the process.
And as always, the attackers are suspected to be loyal to one of the political parties in the opposition.
We patiently await Edwin Clark’s response and/or reaction to the episode.
