The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Friday, invited garrulous former Minister of Aviation and former PDP Presidential campaign organization Spokesperson, Femi Fani-Kayode, to report at the agency’s Abuja office on Monday, May 9, for questioning.
The letter, which was signed by Mohammed Umar Abba on behalf of the Acting Chairman, Ibrahim Magu, was delivered to Fani-Kayode in his Abuja home on Friday, May 6.
Fani-Kayode has responded to the invitation through his lawyers, by stating that he would appear before the anti-graft agency on Monday.
What now? Nothing really. At the rate allegations of corruptions were hovering above his head, the anti-graft agency was bound to invite Fani-Kayode anytime soon. The onus is now on the former minister to clear his name.
