Ekiti State House of Assembly has approved N19.6bn loan facilities for the state government.
Governor Ayodele Fayose had written two different letters, requesting for the Assembly’s approval for the loan.
The state government is expected to secure the loans from Access Bank (N10bn on 10-year and 9 per cent repayment arrangement) as well as Skye Bank (N9,604,430,000 on 20-year and 9 per cent repayment arrangement).
On the same day, Fayose donated a motorcycle and N500, 000 to a crippled cobbler.
