We love it! It’s so impressive to see that agencies of government are getting on the train to transparency. It’s okay these agencies may not know what exactly they are setting themselves up for – snarky anonymous Nigerians who never forget and nonanonymous ones with too much time on their hands. But it’s great, they’ll learn.
The handle announces itself as the Police Complaint Rapid Response Unit so we really do hope that this puts an end to the Nollywood cliche scenes of the Nigeria Police never being early enough.
So far, we have seen the handle take down citizens’ complaints and issue them tracking numbers to make following up much more easily.

The handle also put police affairs out there, for example, this post:

That’s great right? Well, until they pull an “EmefieleStays” on us. Though we really hope they don’t because it will be a good things for us as a people to see the Police force move ahead from this point.
But for now, we say Good Job! Nigeria Police.
