New bosses, new players and a new league logo is set to make the 2016/2017 season a very exciting one for the most popular football league in the world- the English Premier League.
The EPL has unveiled a new logo which will be used from the start of the 2016-17 season.
The division’s lion icon, which has been the face of England’s top flight league since its launch in 1992, has been given a new look.

Goal.com reports that the league will no longer have a name-sponsor as all the 20 clubs in the top flight have agreed on a new centralised sponsorship strategy.
From August 2016, the division, which was formally know as the ‘Barclays Premier League’, will simply be known as ‘the Premier League’ after Barclays decided not to renew their £40 million-a-year deal, which expires at the end of the season.
