Burna Boy Premieres new single on Apple Music’s Beat 1 radio

On Wednesday night, Burna Boy premiered his new single titled Pree Me on Apple Music’s Beat 1 radio with Julie Adenuga.

The song which is produced by his former Aristokrat producer Leriq premiered on the show at 9:20pm (UK time).

Burna Boy is now the first Nigerian artiste to premier a single on Apple Music’s Beat 1.

The song is the first single to be released off Burna Boy’s EP titled Redemption and will be officially released on Friday, July 8 2016.

Burna Boy is currently on a promotional tour in the United Kingdom to raise awareness for his concert in the UK set to hold on the 1st of October. The concert which is the artiste’s first ever concert in the country will hold at the HMV Apollo.

Seyi Shay drops new single featuring Niniola

Following the release of her Murda Remix international release, Seyi Shay is out with new music titled Juba (Bow Down) featuring emerging Afro House singer Niniola.
Juba is the Stargurl CEO’s first single since her debut album Seyi or Shay was released last year.
Seyi and Nini deliver playful lyrics and catchy hooks on the melodious beat to ensure its a solid banger.
This is a fresh breath of air for the singer who has been in quite a lot of trouble lately.

RMD pays somber tribute to the late Bukky Ajayi

On Wednesday, July 6, 2016 the Nigerian movie industry was shaken to its deepest cores by the death of the iconic actress, Bukky Ajayi.

One of the actors who was deeply affected due to his close relationship with Mama was Richard Mofe Damijo. The two go way back to when they appeared together on the late Amaka Igwe‘s Checkmate and Tade Ogidan‘s Diamond Ring.

The actor took to his Instagram to pay a very gripping tribute to her where he expressed his hurt at the failure to see the late actress in her dying days as a result of procrastination.

50 Cent’s bankruptcy case officially closed

50 Cent turned 41 on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 and the rapper’s special day got off to special start as his bankruptcy case got closed.

A bankruptcy judge signed off on the deal to end the case which started back in July 2015 when the rapper filed for bankruptcy with reported assets and debts each worth between $10 million and $50 million.

According to TMZ, the deal will see the Power actor fork out out $23 million to pay his creditors which includes Sleek Audio and Rick Ross‘ baby mama, Lastonia Leviston for leaking her sex tape.
