Nollywood actor, Leo Mezie is back and well
The actor who battled kidney failure and had reportedly lost his right leg to the ailment has now returned from England where he was flown for surgery and treatment.
At the time of his ailment five months ago, Leo Mezie was in need of N10m for a kidney transplant and fellow Nollywood actors had rallied to raise the money.
Yesterday, he was spotted by CEO, Effixzzy Magazine, Ani Amatosero upon his arrival at the airport and he looked hale and hearty. She shared this on Instagram:

Nigerian Music Video Awards (NMVA) releases its 2016 nominees list
With 23 categories to honour the best music videos and directors in Nigeria, the NMVA has returned after a one year break.
The event did not hold last year for some logistic failure, as organisers put it, though awards were given out to winners in all the categories.
Owned by veteran TV presenter, Cally Ikpe, the NMVA has returned with a nominees list dominated by heavyweights on the Nigerian music scene. The Video of the Year category has D’banj, Wizkid, Solidstar, Phyno and Aramide contending for the award.

Oritsefemi apologizes to nightclub owner, Shina Peller
Oritsefemi seems to be on a full apology spree after the violent altercation between him and bouncers at popular nightclub, Quilox.
Two days ago, the singer apologised to fans for the incident while also describing his own behaviour as unruly. Yesterday, he went further to pen an apology to the owner of the nightclub, Shina Peller whom he had earlier disregarded in a post where he said, “The only Shina we know is…Shina Peters“.
Oritsefemi who is still hospitalised has now acknowledged Mr Peller as his “boss, friend and brother for life“. He also promised to be a “gentle human being regardless of the circumstance“.
