A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has ordered the seizure of Omoni Oboli’s new film, Okafor’s Law.

Justice Ibrahim Buba of the Federal High Court ordered the seizure of all copies, materials, projections or infringing materials relating to the subject matter.

This new ruling comes only few days after the movie premiere was halted by a court injunction following a suit filed by Canadian-based script writer, Jude Idada who claims he owns the movie script.

 

This new web series ‘Inspector K’ should get you excited

Produced by Suss Productions in collaboration with RED TV, Inspector K is the story of a new police inspector who solves crimes in unorthodox ways leaving his two assisting police officers clueless many times.

Set to launch on REDTV on 14 April, the series stars Koye “K 10” Kekere-Ekun, A’rese Emokpae, Ani Iyoho, Bollylomo, Ade Laoye, Demilade Olubanwo, Makida Moka and more.

Teenage cancer patient passes on days after FaceTiming with Beyonce

We reported only five days ago that a Houston-based teenage cancer patient, Ebony Banks had her last wish fulfilled when music idol, Beyonce spoke to her via FaceTime.

Ebony Banks who was suffering from a rare, stage four cancer has now passed away.

A vigil held to celebrate Ebony’s life had Beyonce’s Halo playing in the background. It was a dream come true when the #EBOBMEETSBEYONCE campaign set up by Ebony’s classmates on social media got Beyonce’s attention.
