Jay Z’s Tidal bleeding money
Tidal, the music-streaming service, owned by rapper and hip-hop mogul, Jay Z, is reportedly in trouble as the company has recorded $28 million in losses since its purchase in March 2015.
According to a financial statement filed by Aspiro AB, Tidal’s Swedish holding company, Tidal, which was purchased for $56 million, is having difficulty in making payment to suppliers.
There has been 107 instances of the streaming service making late payment.
Will Wizkid be joining Davido at Sony Music?
According to Ovie Ofugara, Head of Content at NotJustOk, Wizkid is set to ink a deal with Sony/RCA.
He said that Wizkid is expected to have signed the deal with the entertainment company yesterday.
All things being equal, Wizkid will put pen to paper on a mega deal with Sony/RCA tomorrow (Tuesday). Everything is agreed in principle.

Following reports by TMZ that rapper Nelly is having tax problems, fans of the musician has become streaming his popular song, ‘Hot in Here’, to help raise funds for the embattled rapper.
The target is to stream the song for a collective 287,176,547 times so that Nelly could earn a sizable Spotify payout.
Ycee to make his debut performance at MTV MAMAs
The rapper will join musical heavyweight across Africa to perform in South Africa at the 2016 MTV MAMAs award at the Ticketpro Dome, Johannesburg, South Africa, on Saturday October 22, 2016.
Ycee, who shot to limelight this year, is expected to perform some of his hit songs at the award show.
