EPL Roundup: Crystal Palace share the spoils with Arsenal | Leicester lucky to earn a draw

It was another breathtaking Sunday afternoon in the English Premier League despite only 3 games being played.

Leicester faced stiff opposition from another revelation of the season – West Ham United at the King Power Stadium while Arsenal also welcomed Crystal Palace at the Emirates.

Leicester vs West Ham

In one of first games of the day, Leicester City and West Ham United engaged in a dogged fight as both sides played out a 2-2 draw.

The Foxes struck first thanks to a super-strike from star man, Jamie Vardy which they carried into the first half.

However, the Hammers came out firing on all cylinders and with Jamie Vardy getting red-carded, they were rewarded late on in the game with an Andy Caroll penalty in the 84th minute and a fantastic half-volley from Aaron Cresswell.

Leicester substitute, Ulloa then saved his team’s blushes with a successful spot kick in the 94th minute.

Liverpool Vs Bournemouth

Meanwhile, Liverpool saw out a 2-1 victory at Bournemouth with Sturrdidge and Firmino providing the much-needed goals despite a late goal from Bournemouth forward, Joshua King.

Later in the day, Arsenal shared the points with Crystal Palace.

Wenger’s men started well with an Alexis Sanchez lobbed header but Alan Pardew’s men ensured they got a point with a fierce shot taken outside the box by Yannick Bolasie.

Tottenham will play Stoke to put pressure on log leaders, Leicester, on Monday.
