The Erekesan market, also known as Oja Oba, in Ado-Ekiti, is set to be demolished by Governor Ayo Fayose.
Most of the traders at the market which is situated at the centre of Ado-Ekiti, have began moving their wares and goods to a temporary market, at the Awedele area of the state capital.
The governor revealed during the week that he had already paid compensation to the traders.
On Friday, Fayose was spotted at the market, conversing with some of the traders, as they moved out of the market.
