Following reports that he has been indicted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) former minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Senator Bala Mohammed on Monday denied that he is being probed by the anti-graft agency.
He spoke through his media consultant, Emma Agu, saying he was neither indicted nor were his properties confiscated by the anti-graft agency, as against reports in the media.
Mohammed also said he was unhappy about the media on his family as a result of the alleged EFCC investigation, adding that his political opponents were taking the advantage of the situation to cause mischief and smear his family name and character.
He also said he has not gotten any personal invitation from EFCC as regards the corruption allegations leveled against him.
The ex-minister described the EFCC probe of his tenure as legitimate.
He said he was ready to give account of his stewardship in office.
