Superstar artiste Davido celebrated his birthday last Thursday at the RED corporate headquarters where he put pen to paper making history as the first Editor-at-Large of Teen Y! Magazine.

Davido took time-out to answer ten fun questions from the magazine editor, Yemi Obamedo, where he spoke about his sense of style, his music, his fear, and advise to young people.

Who is your favourite designer?

Davido: Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo and a couple of others.
When you were in secondary school what were the kind of pranks you played or were you a good boy?

Davido: I wasn’t a good boy. I was just there; I wasn’t like popular but was a bit of a trouble maker.
Did you play pranks on your teachers or students?

Davido: My teachers were ‘Oyinbo’, they won’t take that. (laughs)

 

Who is your celebrity crush home and abroad?

Davido: In Nigeria, zero, none; but foreign, Ciara.

 

But she’s currently in a relationship now…

Davido: Yes, but she’s still my crush. It’s just a crush now…

So the street anthem right now is Skelewu, what inspired it?

Davido: Jonzing. You know we love chilling. So after the club we went to the studio and recorded it and the song became a hit. It now happens to be one of my biggest songs, I thank God.
What is your greatest fear?

Davido: Hmm… That will be to never be popular again, but the truth is I’m a gladiator, I fear nothing.
What is the most expensive thing you have?

Davido: My house.
What is the most expensive gift you have ever given to you girlfriend?

Davido: I don’t have a girlfriend.
Do you have any advice for teenagers?

Davido: Yes, whatever they do they should do it well. I am 21 years old and I have things many people don’t have. I am just thankful for that it. It didn’t come easy. So just work hard.
