#TeamIntegrity the Twitter account reads as part of the profile header, and it already has almost 2000 followers. An account sprung up on the internet claims to be the official account of Honourable Farouk Lawan currently buried in a negative wall of criticism over an alleged $620,000 bribery scandal with Zenon Oil chairman Femi Otedola and it is easy to see who the account is in favour of.
In an interview with Premium Times, the senator stated that he knew nothing about the Twitter account and had not authorised anyone to operate it for him.
“I know nothing about it (the Twitter account). It is an impersonation,” Lawan said.

(On the veracity of my account here, I wish to reaffirm your confidence in that regard. I stand to learn a lot with you.)
