The Ekiti State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has said there is nothing that will make the state governor, Ayodele Fayose to defect to the All Progressives Congress.
The PDP made the declaration in reaction to a statement from the APC on Sunday where it said Fayose was not wanted in the party.
“We want to say without sounding immodest that even if APC consult oracle from now till 2018, Fayose will not join them because nobody would leave city for the jungle to search for mansion,” the Ekiti PDP said in the statement by its Publicity Secretary, Mr. Jackson Adebayo.
The PDP said Fayose would never join a “dying party” whose only political strategy was propaganda.
It advised the APC to solve its internal crisis which has pitched former Ekiti governor, Kayode Fayemi against Bola Tinubu.
