Femi Aribisala: The word of Paul is not the word of God

by Femi Aribisala

femi_aribisala_881912502-600x300

Paul is the only writer in the bible who says his word is the word of God.  He says to the Thessalonians: “When you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God.” (1 Thessalonians 2:13).  This is one of the most deceitful things Paul ever said.

If God were to inspire me to write a book, the words in my book would still be my words.  They would  not be the word of God.Ask a Christian a question about Jesus, and he might answer with a quotation from Paul.  But who tells us Paul speaks for Jesus?  Why do we need Paul to speak for Jesus when Jesus speaks for himself?  Why do we need Paul to speak for Jesus when Jesus himself warns us: “Be on your guard; I have told you everything ahead of time?” (Mark 13:23).  If Jesus has told us all we need to know, why do we need someone else to add to, or subtract from, what he said?Limitations of scripture

The word of God is, and will forever be, with God. (John 1:1).  God created all things with his word. He spoke his word to the patriarchs and the prophets of Israel. Then he sent his word to the world in the person of Jesus, his Son.  The word of God now sits at the right hand of God from where he speaks into the hearts and minds of sons of God and judges all things.  There is no scriptural basis whatsoever for concluding that this word of God is the same as the word of Paul.

Daniel says: “I, Daniel, understood from the scriptures, according to the word of the LORD given to Jeremiah the prophet, that the desolation of Jerusalem would last seventy years.” (Daniel 9:2).  This shows that the scriptures are separate and distinct from the word of God.  The scriptures are given by men.  The word of God is given by God.  The scriptures are written by men.  The word of God is spoken by God.

Accordingly, Jesus points out that the word of God gives life: scriptures do not. He says to the Jews: “You search the scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of me. But you are not willing to come to me that you may have life.” (John 5:39-40).

Paul says: “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” (2 Timothy 3:16).  But this does not make the scriptures the word of God.  There is a difference between what God says and what God inspires.  If God were to inspire me to write a book, the words in my book would still be my words.  They would not be the word of God.  All that can be said is that my words were written by the inspiration of God.  If God were to inspire me to do a painting, it would not thereby be the painting of God? It would still be my painting.

Second Peter

Contrary to popular perception, the writer of 2 Peter does Paul no favours. He says: “No prophecy of scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.” (2 Peter 1:20-21).  However, Paul is not a prophet.  2 Peter does not classify Paul’s writing as prophecy but as “scripture.”  Christians need to understand that the law and the prophets are the highest form of inspired Jewish writings.  Other “writings” are considered of lower cadre.

2 Peter does not even acknowledge Paul as an apostle of Christ.  Instead, it pointedly refers to him as “Brother Paul.”  It does not say Paul writes by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.  Instead, it says Paul writes: “according to the wisdom that God gave him.” (2 Peter 3:15).  That is certainly not a high commendation. It actually means 2 Peter does not accept Paul’s writings as the word of God.  At best, they are words of wisdom.  I also write according to the wisdom God gave me. But that does not make my writings the word of God.

Moreover, the major concern of 2 Peter is that Paul’s letters are inclined to lead unstable believers astray.  I share that concern.  However, there is no danger in the word of God leading anybody astray.  Nowhere in the scriptures are we counseled to be careful that the word of God might lead us astray.  2 Peter says some of Paul’s writings are “hard to understand.”  Again, this immediately shows they cannot be the word of God.  The word of God is not hard to understand.  On the contrary, it “gives understanding to the simple.” (Psalm 119:130).

Word of Paul

When Paul wrote his letter to Timothy declaring the scriptures to be the inspiration of God, the New Testament bible was non-existent.  Therefore, Paul’s epistles can surely not be included in his classification of the scriptures.  In any case, Paul’s view of the Old Testament contradicts that of Jeremiah.  Jeremiah insists the scribes tampered with the bible.  He asks: “How can you say, ‘We are wise, for we have the law of the LORD,’ when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely?” (Jeremiah 8:8).

In the bible, Paul mostly speaks for himself and about himself.  Time and again, he presents himself as his own authority, ensuring that his words should not be mistaken for the word of God.

The word of God can only come from God.  It cannot come from man.  Paul is a man; therefore, he cannot speak the word of God.  John the Baptist, whose heavenly calling Jesus authenticates, never claims he speaks the word of God.  Instead he says: “He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all.” (John 3:31).  “He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure.” (John 3:34).

John is talking here about Jesus and no one else.  Only Jesus and the Holy Spirit are divinely authorised to speak the word of God on earth.  They are the only two people who come from heaven.  They also never speak their own words.  They only speak God’s words.

Jesus says: “I have not spoken on my own authority; but the Father who sent me gave me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. And I know that his command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told me, so I speak.” (John 12:49-50).  The same principle applies to the Holy Spirit.  Jesus says: “He will guide you into all truth; for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak.” (John 16:13).

These principles have no applicability to Paul.  Even by his own admission, Paul speaks his own words.  He says: “What I speak, I speak not according to the Lord, but as it were, foolishly.” (2 Corinthians 11:17).  But God does not speak foolishly.

  1. Brilliant write-up. But I think the author is mixing up a figure of speech with literal meanings. "word of God" does not necessary mean word spoken by God, but it could mean word reflecting God's thoughts. This kind of argument that the author has posted here is going to mislead people who are unable to make up their minds. SO why did I say "brilliant write-up", simply because he was able to put his arguments clearly without forcing his opinions on his audience.
And that is what this is – an opinion. Informed opinion or not, I will defend his rights to air them.

    1. Mr. femi, i want to say God was talkin or advicin pple lik u wen paul wrote 2 cor. 3:6. ur writeups ar alwas on d letters of d bible nt d spirit of d word, remenber its a spiritual book. wats d diffrence btw d wisdom of God n d word of God as spoken by men?? d wisdom of God is d spirit of God ” d fear of God is d biginnin of wisdom but d ungodly despise understand”….. @ just meeee, i just but laugh cos u seem funny- check ur bible is ur usual slogan. am nt sure u ar doin same to learn but to criticise, y wil u understand wen ur hrt isnt humble to. only dose who seek d truth in sincerity finds it, b ready to learn…. jesus said we ar spirit beings, nd d father seeks for d worshipers in truth n in spirit. he said we shuld b holy internally, so we need a spiritual councelor for jesus has finished d physical work dat is needed. d spirit of God is d wisdom of God help man live spiritual life in love n purity nt dat of d pharisee. jesus teaches man to b spiritual, y wil he send a man who wil die witout knwin wer he is goin.. pls help me, hw long did Hagar stayed wit Abraham???? hmmmmmm…..seek in LOVE n u wil find my frend

      1. @Godiya, Hagar stayed long enough with Abraham to have a child, long enough for Sarah to see that the child of the bondswoman was mocking Isaac and if you read Genesis, u will see that Hagar left with Ishmael when he was a “lad”. Remember,Abraham was a 100 years old when isaac was born and he was 86 years when Ishmael was born. So to answer your question, Hagar stayed that long. I used the slogan check your Bible as that is your Book of authority and not what some men teaches. And since you have been checking up on the references I quoted, have I been lying?

      2. @Godiya, you made. Mention of seeking out the Truth, believe you me, I sincerely search and seek the truth out, but help me out here, if the latest version of the Bible does not have that part that says “There are three that bear records in heaven, the father……….” Why is the church still teaching it? When Jesus says ” I can of my own self do nothing” when he said, ” my father is greater than I” ” my father is greater than ALL” why do men still teach that he is God? That he is one of the Trinity? @Godiya, help me here, bcos I am lost, does word mean what they mean? We can go on and on and on! How do you want be to believe a man that seek higher power is the same thing as the power he sought after? How? Please help me!

  2. God’s word is either spoken through a channel it can be heard for no man can see God and God at same time cannot manifest Himself out of nothing. For instance if a father should give a lettter to his son to deliver to another man,are u saying dat letter is of that son and not of the father simply because it was delivered by the son?I believe that is misconception and misinterpretation of the the scripture by femi Aribisala. The scripture says in Matt 10:19-20….When they shall deliver you up take no thought of what ye shall speak but it shall be given in that very hour, for it is not you that speak, but the spirit of your father speaking through you. However,do we reject the fact God speaks through his servants? No.And Job also speaks in same vein, that there is a spirit in man the inspiration of almighty giving them understanding.Job 32:8.Job is simply telling us that God s inspiration in man is his directives. The same scripture also says man receiveth nothing unless is gieven him from heaven.

  3. mr writer please check Hebrews chpter 1 vs 1. God spoke thru d prophets many times and many ways thru s prophet to our ancestors.and he spoke thru his son. d way God spoke speaks is not matters but d content his own words contained in d scripture. the holyghost makes it the word of God and not letters. word f God comes when u invite it meditate on d scriptures. concerning pauls. threz no 'nspiratn frm God dat is qgainst wat he said alot of folks serves d devil amd angels of darkness sth pretend as of light lik dat one who spok to mohammad 600a.d. God's word thru jesus and Gods inspiratn are never cntrary. no dream is greater dan d revelation of God in the bible, never.

    1. @Ajadi, the Angel that spoke to muhammad is of the Darkness, while the one that spoke to Paul and make him talk foolishly is of God? In Corithian 2:11:17 is of good and light? So, God inspired Paul to lie and talk foolishly and from your post above I can see that that foolish inspiration abides in you. Go ahead and live in your ignorance.I can see that you have been programmed beyond redemption, to swallow anything thrown @ you without checking it out. You want to have me believe of the Rape and deceit and slaughter in the Bible were inspired word of God?

    2. @Justme, I appreciate your intelligence and manner on here, I have some questions I’ll like to ask, do you have like a blog or something. I’ll appreciate a response. Thank you

      1. I don’t have a blog, I am just a seeker after Truth. Would love to have a blog but I am still down with a paid Job! Thanks for asking.

      2. @Student, you can put ur question on here, the the Grace of God, I will attempt to answer it with Text from the Bible and not my own judgement or any man judgement.

  4. any way Thebible said the spirit of truth shall come after d king jesus is lifted high to draw men unto himself breedin d fulfiment of dat offspring of abraham who by him all nations ot earth will be blessed and saved, delivered. this spirit of truth is the sustainance a part of God in three person, the blessed trinity whic was promised frm days old and its fufilld afrer christ death as God begins to pour out his spirit upon all flesh. he, holyspirit is a personality, person and not wind giving as gift to bring life whic is jesus as breath containin lif. he has come prophecy fulfiled believe God the father ,jesus and receiv ye d holyghost which he gqve. the bible has where regard God as one and comtain no more dan one entity. God said hear ye oh isreal d lord is God and one. the real hebrew text reads shema yisrael yehovah eloenu yehovah echad. one or echad refers to one thing with more dan one entity. God revealed himself in three persons even in creation. gen chapter one in the beginnin God created d heavens and d earth vs 2 said and d earth was without form, shapeless void and fullof darkness but the spirit of d lord hovers om d waters. then God said. the bibl also said these three thins witness in heaven the father d word which is jesus and d spirit. wisdm of man cant comprehend God's bcos its limited to reasoning but dat of God in revelation. God revealed himself should we accept him and reject him or stand at d fence recognisin we are sinners and knows e lamb of God died to take d sins of
d world away. d devil has all surrendered to God. his words are yes and amem

    1. 1. I want you to lay your hands on the latest version of Bible in town, you will be that the part “there are three that bears record in heaven……” Has been thrown out of the Bible! Check and get back. 2. You made mention of the Seed of Abraham, the Jews are not only his seed! The Arabs too are a seed of Abraham. Remember Hagar and Sarah? Ishmael and Isaac? And Abraham third wife Keturah? And The Jews never worship, the Father, the son and The holy Spririt as u claimed.

  5. Was hr really talking about the holy spirit in John 16:13? Just as you are telling us about Paul-which, of course, we already know-someone else will tell us about John 16:13 because apart from the fact that thr holy spirit was well known to them, the use of the pronoun "he" (and not "it") for a spirit says much more than you are making us to believe here.

    1. @Olawale, if you read the discription of the that “another cormforter” as explained in John, you will see that it is talking about a Man and not a Spirit or a Ghost. In any case, the Holy Ghost has always been around, everyone seems to have it in d Bible, John d Baptist has it, Jesus gave it to the Disciple while he was sending them out and all other prophet seems to have. Jeremiah was filled with the Holy Ghost right from his mother womb!. Sayin Paul is the Holy Spirit or Ghost is Fraudulent bcos Paul himself never said so in any of his Letters. That verse and all other verse explaining the Holy Spirit talked about a Man, an inspired man. So u owe it to yourself to find out bcos ur Salvation depend on him 6or according to Jesus “he shall guide you to all Truth! he will guide you into all truth: …” (John 16:13).
      6. “For he shall not speak of himself, but whatever he shall hear, that shall he speak ;;ohn 16:13

  8. So which book is God’s word,if there isn’t,we(including you)have been fooled!

    1. The Bible as you have it, have Words that you can attribute to God, some to His Prophets and Some to Righteous People and some to self appointed Apostles. Read it yourself, find out and don’t allow anyone to spoon feed you with lies. You owe it to youself bcos your Salvation depends on it.

  9. @ mr. femi aribisala; m not disappointed with your piece Because I Read One Of Your Piece Also Last Week To Be Precise Where You Said Healing ConfessionS Doesn’t Work For A Christian & D@ Its Just A Waste Of Time. ¤¤¤¤ All Am Just ImaginIng Is D@ W@ Sort Of Christian Are You? 1 Who Does Not Believe In The Bible? Y Do You Go To Church? To Criticice Your Pastor? MIND YOU, PAUL”S MISSION ON EARTH WAS TO SPREAD THE GOSPEL 2 DA GENTILES . therefore, the gentiles might call him there apostles. & Lastly, Whom Are You To Judge Paul. God Neva Condemn Him & If D Epistles Were False, Fake & FabricateD, Y Was It Added To D ScriptureS? 2 Confuse D ChristianS? please stop victimizing d church I Don”T Know If You Are a Wounded christian. But Dis Not Da Best Way To Express Yourself

    1. Is it not rather odd that Jesus sent 12 Disciples to the Jews alone with clear instructions not to enter any Gentiles home but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel but only one Apostle to the Entire World? Bros, Paul appoint himself and sold out to the most powerful Nation on earth then ( The Romans) that is the reason most of his Letters got included in the christian Bible and also have a Cathedral in his name at Rome. Know your history. Jesus said talk to the Jews, paul says talk to.the Gentiles, I ask you who would you believe?

      1. Jesus also told his disciples after he resurrected in Mark 16:23 “He said to them, Go throughout the whole world and preach the gospel to the whole human race” GNB.
Nevertheless, Paul always said salvation is first to the Jews before the Gentiles; just as Jesus spoke only in Isreal in his 3yrs+ ministry. Moreso, He always met and preached to the Jews 1st in any city he went to.

        1. So Jesus was afraid to tell the Disciple to preach to the whole World until his supposedly resurrection? And also Salvation is to the Jews before you and I? Nice try but no thanks.Jesus himself said that he was sent only to the people of Israel (Matthew 15:24): “I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” If he said he was sent to Israel, I ask you are you an Israelite? Read your bible well nah! Paul appoint himself and I tell you The Prophet that was sent to the whole world is right there in your Bible look and you will see him,

        2. Oga, Socrates, get a new Bible version and see that that verse in Mark 16:23 has now been put in a bracket! This simply means that verse was never part of the original in d old manuscript! Someone added it at a later stage! So say ur Translators not me! That is another thing about the Bible constant updates that you need to buy new updates to keep up with the word of God. Go ahead and check it and get back to me.

        3. @Socrates, to buttress this point remember that Cannaite woman that came to Jesus and ask Jesus to heal her daughter? What was Jesus response to her? Read Mat 15:22  And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. 23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us. 24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. 26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs. 27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table. 28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour. From. Theabove Verses. Jesus made it abundantly clear that his mission was to safe the Jews from their ways, they do things without the. Spirit inherent in them, they kill the Prophets, slander some,an attempt was made on his. Own life too, they call him a liar etc etc. Jesus never called on anyone outside the Jews to what he preached. It was long after he left that self appointed apostles rose and preached his mission when he himself never said so. The guy who would talk to the whole World is mentioned in the Bible if only the. Bible reader could do away with their pre-concieved notion and. The years of programming done. Read Christ description of the. Comforter and reflect on it.

  10. u are right joo my brother, he’s just creating confusion to pple instead of winning soul

  11. Mat19:16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? 17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. 18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, 19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? 21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. What has Paul to say about Eternal Life? He said until you believe that an Innocent man died for your Sins! No show for you! A man that from all narratives prayed to God to safe him from death!

  12. I seriously recommend lacatin 4 d writer..
You based ur argument against paul on half-truth, each f d scriptures u quoted also warned against ppl like you.2peter3:16b;his letters contain some things that are hard 2 understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort(totally referring to u), as they do the other scriptures, 2 der own destruction..na u quote am ooo

    1. LMAO! Walahi, u’re wicked. How will the Femi Aribisala have been saved if Paul didn’t bring salvation to the Gentiles?? Now he turns around and calls him names. Please, pray for him. *sigh*

      1. Femi Aribisala would still be saved if he kept the commandment. Jesus said so, it was Paul who changed to believing that an God sacrifice His only “begotten son” before he can forgive us mortals! Yet, you guys failed to reason with Jesus that the Father in heaven is a Loving God who forgives easily. See Mat 7:7. So according to Jesus, keep the Law and you shall have Eternal Life, Paul says, believe some one die for your “sins” and you will be saved. The choice is your who to belive.

  13. You guys still believe Paul speak for Jesus? Ok, Jesus said the greatest Commandement is Love God thy Lord and Keep the commandment wheras Paul said you cannot be justified by the Law alone! Also, as a Sign of Convenant between God and Father Abraham, circumscision is for all Male in his house and by extension every belivers, what did Paul have to say about this? Galatians 5:2: “Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.” This guy made so many Changed to what Jesus taught and also what the Prophets Taught as of old, yet Christ warned his followers that Doctrines of Men will be used to justify his worship!! Matthew 15:9: “But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.. Are you guys still in doubt?

    1. Re u ok? Christ said d greatest commandment not the only commandment..
Paul’s objection 2 circumcision wz only if it is done to earn salvation. To paul, circumcision as a cultural practice wz ok by him, that wz d reason y e circumcised timothy-Act 16:3
Young man, read ur bible well n pray 4 understanding rather than jst bla bla bla

      1. Who needs prayer for understanding? I just showed you a textual evidence that Salvation can be gotten by loving God and keeping His Cammandements on the Authority of Jesus. Yet you want me to believe Paul who never saw or Met christ all his life tell me otherwise? I can see that seeing ye see not!

        1. paul neva met christ nor saw him but he had an encounter with Christ Which Made Him Believe In Christ.

Mind You Paul Was A Jew Before His Conversion & He Was An Apostle Sent To D Geniles

          1. @ just me d greatest thing in life is not about you seeing God Face To Face, But Da Greatest Is In You BelievIng In Him. Because Lots Of People Even Ate With Jesus Yet They Neva Believed In Him……… So Which Do You Prefer @ Just Me Seeing Or Encounter?

          2. Mat10:1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. 2 Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; 3 Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus; 4 Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him. 5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: 6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. 9 Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses, 10 Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat. 11 And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence. 12 And when ye come into an house, salute it. 13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you. 14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. 15 Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
If Jesus gave specific instructions to his Disciples as enumerated above from the Bible that his preachings were for the Jews and not Gentiles. This was Jesus as they say direct! Now how do you want me to believe Paul who never saw him, never learn from jesus that he was appointed as an Apostle? I guess he appoints himslef and claim it is from God. How did he met Jesus? In a vision abi? Ok. Compare how he narrate dis experience in the Bible! They never agree! And you are warned that ” the pen of the scribes lie!” Jesus say my Preaching is for Jews, Paul says it is for the gentiles too! Who am I to believe? Help me abeg

      2. @Omare, Circumcsion is not a cultural practice, it was a command from God to Abraham (confirm from Genesis). Read your bible well before you open your mouth. So if you feel Paul can abrogate it, that’s between you and God, mine job is to point it out to you which I have done.

    2. @ just me, da bible was written in various version for people like you. ……. Gal5:2 NLT -__- Read Thus:,::” Listen, I Paul, tell you this: if you are counting on circumcision to make you right with God , then christ cannot help you”. ¤¤¤¤get your facts well & AlwayS Pray That D HolySpirit Gives You Da Spirit Of Interpretation. & I Pray You Should Have AN Encounter With Da Father Himself

      1. @Ayomide, If God in His Wisdom told Abraham that circumscion is a mark of convenant between Him and Abraham and Abraham abide by this (Read Genesis) and as a sign even Jesus was circumcised when he was 8 Days old, now tell me who is Paul representing when he said circumsicion will profit them not? No reason the Jews threw Paul out of thieer synagogues for defiling it. Before you go about talking about versions and translation of the bible, take time out and understand it in the language you know. Faith is not blind bcos the Bible Teaches that you should proof all things and hold fast to that which is good. “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good” (I

    3. Read the bible thoroughly…Rom 13:9-this is for the love your neighbour. Rom 2:29 also cross check with Deuteronomy 10:16, 30:6 and Jeremiah 4:4. @Just me all scripture is inspired of God,and with God there is no confusion. The bible in its totality is God’s word!

  14. Paul was talking about his preaching of the gospel to the thessalonians, for indeed, man has authority to preach the gospel as the word of GOD, since Christ gave his disciples the authority to make disciples of all nations. When he preached Christ, he was preaching GOD’s words. In his language and style, but GOD’s words. Afterall, GOD doesn’t preach physically! Yes, Paul had to speak for Jesus, as all the apostles had to, since Jesus had gone to heaven and could no longer physically speak to people to repent.

  15. On a second read, Oga writer, are you saying that now saying that there is no book out there that contains The Word of God?

  16. This we have known all along. That Paul wrote the book himself and claimed it was the word of God. Remember this was a man who never saw or metJesus alive and yet claimed that Jesus rose from the Dead and everyone belived him! Now if you believe that. Part of his writings, why are you now saying some part were his own words and not God Word? This Paul never met Jesus, never studied under him yet the Christian World believe all he has to say about Jesus!

  17. Your piece disqualified itself since they are your words and if we are to reject Paul’s word on the basis that he speaks as a mere earthly man, then how and why should we accept yours? Moreover we are guided by the Holy spirit and do not need such words from you.

  18. Well, effort expended on dis epistle should‘ve been used on saving souls kind rather than a confusing type.
