Festus Keyamo has reiterated his initial comments that the abducted Ese Oruru and her captor are possibly lovers.
The senior lawyer, who’s also under the employ of the Ecomonomic and Financial Crimes Commission, took to his Twitter a couple of hour ago to say that Yinusa and Ese should be married off, if indeed it turns out that they are indeed lovers.
1. I was one of the 1st persons to condemn d 'abduction' of Ese in the Punch edition of 1/3/16, page 5. The interview was granted on 28/2/16

2. My tweets on Ese's case were after I heard an audio recording where she claimed to be 17+. If she's 14, my position with Punch remains

3. However, I maintain that 'if' she's 17+ & d boy is 18 & above & she's insisting on staying with him, d best option is to marry them off

His initial comments…
If it's true Ese is 17 & her 'abductor' 18, it's just a case of 2 young lovers playing pranks. Their parents should unite and marry them off

Whoever thinks any law-enforcement agency can keep a 17 and 18 yr old apart in this modern world is just recreating another Romeo and Juliet

Ese, 17 said she left home with her lover, 18. She doesn't want to return to Bayelsa. Do we re-abduct her & chain her to her father's gate?

As a parent, if you're not strict enough or close enough to your 17-yr old to woo her back home, then no Police in the world can do it for u
