The Film Blog: We want to remember Ken Saro-Wiwa Jr for ‘Nowhere to run’

A number of people have tweeted tributes to the amazing Ken Saro-Wiwa, who no one has a nasty word to say about.

There is nothing more to add, really.

Except this. Just before he passed, his last gift to the world was his part in the excellent documentary, Nowhere to run.

The documentary focuses on Nigeria’s urgent climate change crisis. Our country is collapsing, and we are not paying attention. This film will grip you, and will focus your attention, beautifully if we may, on an oncoming national crisis.

It’s produced by the Shehu Yar’Adua Center, funded by the Office of the National Security Adviser, and narrated by Ken.

See link to the trailer here.

You should see it.

And you should remember Ken by it.
