A section of the Ikeja City Mall reportedly caught fire earlier today. One of the stores in the mall, Mr. Price was said to have caught fire. The store is located close to Entrance 1 of the mall.

Shoppers reportedly filed out of the mall as soon as news of the fire broke out.

Eyewitnesses say the Lagos State Fire Service which has an outpost close to the scene of the incident responded promptly to try and put off the fire.

It was learnt that the fire broke out around 11am.
