First lady, Patience Jonathan, rushed to Germany for medical treatment (Reports)

by Isi Esene

Nigeria’s first lady, Patience Jonathan is reported to be undergoing treatment for  food poisoning in an undisclosed hospital in Germany.

Sources say Dame Jonathan was  flown into the European country towards the end of last week.

It is speculated that the first lady was flown in an air ambulance heading to the city of Wisbanden in Germany but her final destination remains unclear.

She is reported to be responding well to treatment and unconfirmed reports indicate that she is now able to speak with close relatives after going through a severe health scare.

Mrs. Patience Jonathan is expected to be in the European country for a little longer so that doctors can closely monitor her situation and certify her fit for a return journey back to Nigeria.

Efforts to ascertain her health condition and whereabouts proved abortive but we shall continue to monitor the situation for further updates.
