There have been major flood disasters in many parts of the country mainly in Lokoja, Kogi and other states like Edo which was attributed the overflowing of the River Niger.

The worrisome pictures taken from these places was re-enacted in Lagos this morning after a heavy downpour which disrupted normal business activities in the metropolis and destroyed valuable properties.
