A former spokesperson of terrorist sect, Boko Haram Ali Konduga is of unsound mind, according to the Borno state Police Command.
Konduga was arrested last week at the house of leader of the Senate, Ali Ndume by the police who were informed of his abnormal behaviour by visitors.
Spokesman of the command Victor Isuku, said this in a statement he issued in Maiduguri.
“On investigation, he was behaving abnormally and was not responding rationally to questions put to him, a situation that suggests that he is of unsound mind
“Hence, he was taken to the Federal Neuro Psychiatric Centre, Maiduguri, to ascertain his sanity.
“Meanwhile the suspect is still under observation at the hospital,” he said.
