GBISH! GBASH! Boom! Clang! These are sounds you’ll hear repeatedly from ‘Damage’ produced by Nollywood Star, Uche Jumbo. It has everything from wife battery and violence-induced sex to bloody endings and children with selective mutism. 

Talk about an empty barrel making the loudest noise.

Still on the subject, it appears so much effort went into the publicity and planning of the premiere that someone somewhere forgot to take another look at the movie itself.

Fantastic storyline. Uhm, good idea. But, in one word, this movie was… scattered.

Continuity was awful and the post editing work on the visuals and sound was even worse. Was post-production rushed to meet a marketing timetable? Quality offered up as sacrifice to urgency? I would hazard a yes. Jumbo needs to be careful what movies posterity gets to judge her on. This made me want to stick a finger down my throat.
