“Go and die!”: Oshiomhole caught on tape lashing out at crying widow (WATCH)

Governor Oshiomhole

Governor Adams Oshiomhole’s drive to clean up Edo State and rid it of unwanted elements selling goods on the street seem to be lacking a human face as a video recently surfaced online which captured the governor lashing out at a roadside hawker who apparently ran foul of the law.

The governor who led officials of the state task force saddled with the responsibility of sanitizing the state reportedly told a poor hawker to “go and die” after the woman begged that her only means of livelihood, her wares, should be spared by men of the task force.

What Governor Adams Oshiomhole Said to a Poor Widow

Oshiomhole refused to be moved by the pleas of the poor widow later leaving the scene after the woman’s wares had been carted away.

  1. It is saddening and shameful to hear that a comrade of Oshomole's status could utter such a sickening remark to a poor widow especially when himself has also tasted poverty in the past. A leader is supposed to make life better for his followers and not make it unbearable. Adams Oshomole, u need to retract ur words and apologise to the poor woman else posterity will not forgive u. A responsible leader should choose his words by thinking before talking and not the other way round.

  2. i neve believe it i believe it was just an anger it was not in tentional

  3. We're all human but I can't just believe whatever I read from any news without my personal investigation into the matter. This Governor is a man of integrity. We should be mindful of political propaganda

  4. With such an utterance coming from a governor, it is quiet unfortunate from a leader of the people. He is no longer fit to rule. I am deeply ashame of Oshiomhole.
