Super Eagles safe hands, Vincent Enyeama has sent a message of encourage to his team-mates and Nigerian footballs fans at large urging them not to lose hope in the teams despite its loss to Congo yesterday.
The Super Eagles lost 3-2 in a Group A African Nations Cup qualifying match which took place at the U.J Esuene Stadium putting the Champions in third position behind leaders South Africa and Congo.
Enyeama, who missed the match, posted this message on his Instagram page moments ago: “Losing doesn’t make us failure.we are well able to arise,conquer and have dominion.we have done it before and we will do it again.let us believe and work hard towards greatness.lets join our hands,let’s become a stronger force.its not the time to blame and criticize.its the time to push towards greatness.#WEARENIGERIA#INVICTORYANDINDEFEAT.”
Team Coach, Stephen Keshi, has expressed his displeasure over the players’ performance saying he is “very disappointed.”
