Grab your popcorn and tune in: @AO1379 and @MrAyeDee face off for GMB and GEJ on Rubbin’ Minds today

The engagement of young Nigerians in the upcoming gubernatorial and presidential elections has been unprecedented. On the streets and online the debates have raged, and both sides have staunch supporters who are yet to meet in person.

Rubbin’ Minds, Nigeria’s most watched youth-oriented television show, will bring them all to the studio to face off on the issues, in a debate moderated by the award-winning host of Rubbin’ Minds, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.

From the online arena, Akintunde Oyebode (Twitter handle: @AO1379) and New York-based Mukhtar Daniyan (@MrAyeDee) will be representing APC and PDP respectively. Also representing their political ideologies are: Ismail Ahmed, Chairman, APC Youth Forum; Abdulahi Maibasira, National Youth Leader of the PDP; Ikem Isiakewena of Act Now Nigeria; and Anthony Ehilebo of the PDP presidential campaign.

Covering a wide range of issues, Ahmed will be making his case under the heading of My Clamour for Change’, while Maibasira will speak on ‘My Resolve for Continuity’. Others present will discuss topics relevant to young Nigerians and including ‘Youth and Employment’ and ‘Security and The Economy’.

The show will air this Sunday, 8 March, 2015 at 3:00pm on Channels TV. Don’t miss it.
