On Friday Halle Berry confirmed news that she will become a mother for the second time.
And while shopping with friends in New York City on Saturday, the Oscar-winning actress couldn’t help from hiding her growing baby bump.
Halle used her friends as shields from the crowd, standing between the male-female pair as they made their way along the busy sidewalks.
Despite the cold temperatures, she left her long grey coat unbuttoned around her waist, exposing her growing midsection.
Underneath she wore loose fitting trousers and a clingy cotton top that did nothing to quell the excitement after confirming on Friday that she is expecting her first child with her fiance Olivier Martinez.

This is the first child for the 47-year-old French actor.
The pair already share partial custody of Halle’s five-year-old Nahla, whom she had with former boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.
Publicist Meredith O’Sullivan Watson offered no other details, though TMZ reports that her daughter Nahla will now be the big sister to a bouncing baby boy.
Halle is set to reprise her role as Storm in the next instalment of the X-Men series.
As the mutant Ororo Munroe in her last two X-Men films, Halle famously wore a skin-tight leather suit that showcased her slim physique.
No word yet if the film, which is currently in pre-production and set to be released in 2014, will work around her pregnancy.
Halle and Olivier announced their engagement last year and had planned to move to Paris with Nahla, but the move only served as fuel for a public battle with her French Canadian ex-boyfriend.
Last November, Olivier entered into a violent brawl with Gabriel, 36, after he dropped her off at the Halle’s home.
They reached a mutual decision not to pursue criminal charges and to settle the dispute amongst themselves for Nahla’s sake after Gabriel originally filed for a restraining order against Olivier, claiming he had threatened to kill him.
A judge ruled that the pair could not move because it would prevent Gabriel from being able to see his daughter regularly.
Halle still maintains that a move to Paris in the near future, though it may be years away.
The actress said in an interview with HELLO! magazine: ‘It will probably won’t be until my daughter is 18 and off to college.
Last fall she opened up to Wendy Williams about adding to her family, saying that Nahla had expressed wishes of being a big sister.
‘My daughter is asking me,’ she said.
‘Every night we pray to God, and she’s so sweet. She says, “God, please bring me a bunk bed and a baby sister.” And I say, “I can do one of those things, I know for sure! The other one we have to keep praying on.” What do you say to her when she wants that and can’t understand why God’s taking so long, you know?’
The admission was ominous for the famously private actress, who also said that she has learned a lot since giving birth to her daughter five years ago.
‘I’m a much better mother at 46, or 41 when I had her, than if I were 21 or 25. I was just a little baby, just trying to figure it out, trying to figure out who I was, let alone have the responsibility of trying to help another little soul develop and grow,’ she admitted.
‘I’m so glad I waited.’
