Law court rape

A 45-year-old man from Germany who was accused of killing his lover during a sick sex game has been jailed for less than four years.

The accused, a salesman from Berlin who was dating the victim, a bank clerk at that time, was given a less stringent punishment because his late partner willingly participated in the sordid incident.

Prosecutors had initially called for him to be tried for manslaughter, which could have seen him jailed for up to seven years.

Daily News reports:

He was found guilty, on Thursday, of bodily harm resulting in death.

“He is responsible for the death but he didn’t want to kill his sexual partner,” Berlin Regional Court reportedly said in its judgment.

The Local reports that the clerk invited the man to his Marienfelde apartment in Jan. 2012.

He asked the salesman to tie him to the bed and cover his mouth and nose with tape. He later died of suffocation.

The salesman then reportedly hacked up his corpse and tried to cook his head.
