Following the failed re-election bid of President Goodluck Jonathan, one of his closest allies, Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke, is back in the eye of the storm.

Just yesterday, the Public Accounts Committee of the House of Representatives, wrote to her to provide information on the controversial Challenger 850, the jet the minister reportedly chartered for her trips.

And now, she was spotted today, Saturday, at the residence of Former Head of State, Abdulsalami Abubakar.

While it is uncertain what the nature of her visit is, conspiracy theorists have already gone to work.

Immunity talks, maybe?

  1. Diezani Alison Madueke’s visit is most likely to create a soft landing for her in the incoming dispensation. She has a lot of questions to answer e.g nnpc audits, missing crude proceeds et al

  2. She is there to lobby so that the in coming govt will not prove her athroscity she committed while in office .
