The management of cable network HiTV has issued an official apology to its subscribers following the closure its head office on Monday, November 21, 2011 by officers of the Nigerian Police Force.
In a statement delivered through its Public Relations Manager, Justin Akpovi-Esade, the HiTV management confirmed and acknowledged that the cable network was experiencing disruption in its services.
“Everything would be fine very soon. A team of competent personnel are working round the clock to ensure the issue is resolved. HiTV values its numerous subscribers and calls for their usual understanding and patience while the issue is being sorted out,” Mr Akpovi-Esade said.
There were rumours early this week claiming financial glitches were responsible for the closure but nothing has been confirmed yet – including a closure at the behest creditors.
